文章的開頭有三句話，有各自不同的功能，真正做到了“短小精悍”。第一句，擺現(xiàn)實（暗含作者不支持的觀點）；

反正筆者教學(xué)這么多年，3分的作文我也只見到過一次。

第二段，講政客的時候，以美國前總統(tǒng)小布什在伊拉克戰(zhàn)爭問題上的出爾反爾為例。（For example, George. W. Bush have been saying he will end the war in the Middle East since 2003. Now, in 2008, the war is continuing raging fervently.

文章的第二段和第三段，作者顯然是對語言學(xué)中的委婉語現(xiàn)象有一定的了解，或者說閱讀過相關(guān)文章，因此有兩個非常有趣的例子進(jìn)行說明。
